How it works
A clear process, from terms to signature.
SurCompliance assesses and verifies the required documentation for certification of the terms, which must be signed before a notary public.
Step 1: Download the terms

Step 2: Prepare your documentation
Gather the documents needed to establish legal representation and complete your supplier file.
Step 3: We verify and coordinate
SurCompliance assesses and verifies your documentation, and coordinates and schedules your appointment at a network notary office.
Step 4: Sign before a notary
Sign the terms before a notary public and leave the documentation. We follow the process through to final certification.

Requirements
What you need for certification.
Certification requires proof of legal representation and the submission of the documents that form your supplier file.
Proof of legal representation
Important
For this specific notarial act, certified copies are not accepted, whether of the corporate record books or the power of attorney.

Legal entities
If the signatory is:
President (S.A.)
- Articles of association and amendments.
- Latest general meeting minutes appointing officers.
- Latest board meeting minutes assigning positions.
- Original Argentine identity document (DNI) and photocopy.
Managing partner (S.R.L.)
- Company agreement and amendments.
- If the company keeps a minute book for partners’ and managers’ meetings: the latest minutes appointing managers.
- Original Argentine identity document (DNI) and photocopy.
Authorized representative (in all cases)
- Power of attorney granting sufficient authority (e.g. to sign contracts, bids and proposals, and execute the relevant contracts and amendments).
- Articles of association and amendments.
- Original Argentine identity document (DNI) and photocopy.
- Latest general meeting minutes appointing officers.
- Latest board meeting minutes assigning positions.
Originals and photocopies are required in all cases.
Minute books must also be presented in original and photocopy.
Legalization by jurisdiction
If you certify at a notary office in Buenos Aires City
If the articles of association and/or powers of attorney were executed in the Province of Buenos Aires or any jurisdiction other than Buenos Aires City, the originals must be legalized, and the photocopies duly certified by a notary and legalized by the notarial association of the relevant jurisdiction.
If you certify at a notary office in the Province of Buenos Aires
If the articles of association and/or powers of attorney were executed in Buenos Aires City or any jurisdiction other than the Province of Buenos Aires, the originals must be legalized, and the photocopies duly certified by a notary and legalized by the notarial association of the relevant jurisdiction.
Individuals
- Present the original Argentine identity document (DNI) and a photocopy.
De facto partnerships
- Present original Argentine identity documents (DNI) and photocopies for all partners.
- Present the articles or instrument evidencing the formation of the de facto partnership.
- All partners of the de facto partnership must attend the notary office to sign the relevant terms.
SAS companies
- Same requirements as for legal entities.
Clarification
For SAS companies, all documentation is digital. You must have the articles of association, amendments and reforms (if any), and the minutes recording the latest appointment of officers with a valid term of office. Bringing a printout of the registration record is also recommended.
NGOs
- Same requirements as for legal entities.
Clarification
NGOs must be registered with the relevant authority (IGJ/DPPJ). You must have the articles of association or incorporation agreement, amendments and reforms (if any), and the minutes recording the latest appointment of officers with a valid term of office.
Required documentation

1. A.F.I.P. registration certificate.
2. Gross Receipts Tax registration certificate.
3. Sworn statement of social security contributions
Together with proof of payment for the last three months (if you are an employer).
4. Articles of association
Does not apply to individuals.
5. Latest financial statements
Does not apply to individuals.
6. Registration in special registries
Where applicable to the activity or company.
Only if you sign the Ternium terms
7. Contractor’s record or letter
Addressed to the Company, confirming receipt and knowledge of these terms, and expressly declaring agreement with and unreserved acceptance of all their clauses and conditions. To evidence that agreement, the Contractor (through the company’s legal representative or an authorized person, as applicable) must sign every page of the terms and the aforementioned record or letter in the presence of a Company official, or have the signature certified by a notary public.

8. Letter in the form of a sworn statement
Identifying the person appointed to act as the Contractor’s representative, including their personal details, address and telephone number, and signed by both parties. Under no circumstances may the tax, business or registered address be established at the Company’s facilities or addresses.

When signing
The documentation must be left at the notary office when signing, in printed form and/or on a digital medium (labeled USB drive).
